Jon Schleiff,

Director of Operations

 

Jon began his working life in 1984 when he started working for the State of Washington and Department of Labor as a Security Officer at a large facility in the foothills of the North Cascades. He was a police officer in the small town of Concrete Washington in the beautiful Cascades Mountains. He spent 25 years working in EMS as an EMT and paramedic while continuing working in private security.

Jon moved to the interior of Alaska to enjoy hunting and fishing while living off grid 60  miles from his post office box. He moved moved to Ketchikan where he lived on a sailboat in the harbor. Jon started 49th State Security Services to serve the communities of Ketchikan and Southeast Alaska.

Jon's intention is to fill the ranks with as many veterans as possible. Our Service Men and Women are returning to civilian life and our business can offer a job that is in line with their skills as soldiers and heroes.
